🌟 Imagine a world where you can be anyone: a legendary warrior, a space explorer or an idealised version of yourself. Video games and virtual reality are no longer just entertainment; they have become powerful tools that influence how we perceive ourselves and interact with others.
🔮 For the first time in English, researcher Angelina Demilkhanova shares insights from 20 years of studying gamers' digital identities, including findings from the book "Doppelgangers: The Psychology of Gaming and Virtual Reality", which she co-authored with Aron Brudny.

Despite rapid technological advances, the core psychological processes remain remarkably consistent. This lecture will take you beyond the surface to the very essence of how games influence our sense of self.
Lecturer:
PhD in Psychology, is a specialist in computer games research, virtual reality, addictive behaviors, and sports psychology. She is also a practicing psychotherapist and guest editor at Scientific & Academic Publishing (SAP). She is also a teacher of the martial art Aikido (4th Dan Aikikai Hombu Dojo).
Author of more than 30 scientific publications. Also author of books on psychology and philosophy of martial arts.
